These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Deploy Hawk website (deployhawk.io) and deployment services provided by RetainerHub LLC, doing business as Deploy Hawk ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Deploy Hawk provides server deployment services for self-hosted applications including Vaultwarden, n8n, and OpenClaw. Our services include initial server configuration, security hardening, application deployment, and optional ongoing managed care.
What We Provide
Each deployment includes SSH hardening, Docker containerization, Nginx reverse proxy configuration, Let's Encrypt SSL, UFW firewall configuration, deployment verification, and handoff documentation as described on our services page. The specific features included in each deployment are listed on the product page at the time of purchase.
What You Provide
To complete a deployment, you are responsible for providing a VPS server running Ubuntu 24.04 from a provider of your choice, a domain or subdomain pointed to your server's IP address, SSH access to your server via public key, and any application-specific requirements (such as API keys or bot tokens) as outlined during the onboarding process.
You are responsible for maintaining your VPS subscription, domain registration, and any third-party API keys or accounts required by the deployed application. Deploy Hawk is not responsible for service interruptions caused by unpaid VPS hosting, expired domains, or revoked API keys.
Delivery
Standard deployments are completed within 48 hours of receiving all required access and information from you. Delivery timelines begin when we have confirmed SSH access to your server and all necessary configuration details. Delays caused by incomplete information, DNS propagation, or third-party service issues are not counted toward the delivery timeline.
Managed Care
Managed care is an optional recurring service that includes monthly security updates, container maintenance, SSL monitoring, and priority support as described on our services page. Managed care agreements can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. Upon cancellation, we will remove our SSH access from your server and provide final documentation of the server's current state.
Payment
All payments for services purchased through deployhawk.io are processed by Stripe. Payments for services purchased through Fiverr are governed by Fiverr's terms of service. All prices are listed in US dollars. Deployment fees are one-time charges. Managed care fees are recurring monthly or annual charges as selected at the time of purchase.
Refunds
If we are unable to complete a deployment due to a technical limitation on our end, you will receive a full refund. If a deployment is completed and verified working at the time of handoff, refunds are not available for the deployment fee. Managed care refunds are prorated based on the remaining days in the current billing period.
Server Ownership and Access
Your server remains your property at all times. Deploy Hawk accesses your server solely for the purpose of completing the deployment or performing managed care maintenance. Upon completion of a deployment without managed care, we remove our SSH access from your server. For managed care clients, we retain SSH access for the duration of the agreement and remove it upon cancellation.
Limitation of Liability
Deploy Hawk provides deployment and configuration services. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, security breaches, or other issues that occur after the deployment handoff, except for servers under an active managed care agreement where the issue falls within the scope of managed care services.
We are not responsible for issues caused by actions taken by you or third parties on the server after handoff, including but not limited to configuration changes, software installations, or security modifications made outside of our managed care service.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our deployment services for any illegal purpose, to host content that violates applicable laws, or to use deployed applications in a manner that violates the terms of service of the underlying software (Vaultwarden, n8n, OpenClaw, or any other deployed application).
Intellectual Property
The Ansible playbooks, deployment scripts, and operational procedures used by Deploy Hawk are our proprietary tools. Purchasing a deployment grants you a fully configured server and application — it does not grant rights to our deployment tooling or methodology.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes to pricing or service scope will be communicated via email to active managed care clients.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
